We are proud to share that more than 230 feet of wall has been restored!

The Norman Bird Sanctuary (NBS) is a wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center with more than 325 acres of diverse habitats and 7 miles of hiking trails.

NBS is also the proud home to miles of historic stone walls, including one that runs adjacent to Hanging Rock Road and continues north along Third Beach Road. This area is a critical intersection not only because of its visibility to walkers, runners, cyclists, and vehicles; it is a scenic byway in the heart of one of Middletown’s most important historic areas: Paradise Valley.
